- Course objectives
- Students will get acquainted with basic didactic knowledge. Main objectives can be summarized as follows: being able to understand and explain what language system consists of; how learners differ from each other; how to recognize and treat different types of learners; being aware of teaching styles and teacher’s roles; getting theoretical knowledge about lesson planning and applying it in a way to create effective lesson plans; understanding what motivation is, how it influences learning and what motivational techniques are available for the language teacher.

- Assessment methods
- Requirements for getting ctredits: active participation in sessions, complementing a portfolio, one contribution to a discussion forum on moodlinka, two lesson plans according to given criteria. Type of teaching: workshop, group discussion, student presentations.
