- Course objectives
- The goal is to deepen working with specialized texts and the ability to handle scientific studies in the form of theses on the selected topic. This seminar is for students who are working on their final thesis. It is led by a competent consultant. Theses of students may be focused on linguistics, literature, or didactics. Students chose a consultant based on their thesis. Students are taught various specializations to define proficient topic of their scientific work, to formulate a research problem and research questions. Learn how to design work and how to approach special literature. They deal with different research techniques and apply skills to work on their own project.
- Syllabus
- Part of the course content are following topics: 1. Choice of topic, the focus of the topic. 2. Selection of primary and secondary special literature. 3.Thesis processing 4. Thesis concept 5 Research methods in lforeign anguage teaching, linguistics and foreign language literature. 6. Preparation and organization of the research. 7. Work on the final task. Development of individual tasks and goals of the thesis. 8. Systematic follow-up work on the final task. 9. Presentation of partial results. 10. Discussion on special scientific problems.
