- Course objectives
- Printmaking - general definition. Traditional methods of printmaking. Relief printing, - linocut, woodcut, wood engrawing - preparing of matrix and print processing. Intaglio, - drypoint, etching, aquatint, mezzotint, engrawing - preparing of matrix and print processing. Surface printing processes,technology principle of lithography. Screenprinting - serigraphy, hand making and photosensitive process stencil creating. Multicolor prints and experimental processing. Charakteristic of expression possibilities and identifikation of the print technics. History of printmaking methods and their meaning in vizual culture.
