Course objectives
The aim of the subject is to introduce students to the possible ways of interpretation of a piece of poetry or drama (drawing upon the subject of Theory of literature I which is devoted to the poetics of prose). The subject shows students how to uncover the meaning of a literary text and its possible interpretations. Students will learn through detailed analysis how to percieve an artistic text and how to evaluate it using different methodological approaches.
