Course objectives
The goal of the subject is not only increasing the students competence in writing so-called dissertations but also acquiring better knowledge on socio-political behaviour in francophone countries, especially in France. The selected themes reflect the most important event in last 25 years.
Syllabus

Le rideau de fer vu par les Français. 6. La lutte contre le SIDA. 7. Les guignols de l'info: peut-on rire de tout ? 8. 1995, 14 ans de désillusions. 9. 2002, le choc des élections présidentielles. 10. Mouvements sociaux des 25 dernieres années.
