Course objectives
The goal is to give a survey of the French language development starting in plebeian Latin until 17th century. Phoneme, morphology, syntactic, lexical changes in individual periods of the development of French.

  • 1. Plebeian Latin. 2. Galic-Romanic language. 3. Old French of 9th 14th century. 4. Middle French of 15th 16th century. 5. French of 16th century.
