Course objectives
Didactics, its subject, and the relationship to other disciplines (to pedagogy, psychology, linguistics). The aim and content of teaching Czech at different stages and types of schools. Didactic principles and their use in the Czech language lessons. Personality of the teacher. Relationship a teacher vs. a pupil. Creation of knowledge, skills, and habits. Forms and methods of teaching Czech, types of lessons. Evaluation and classification in the Czech language lessons.

  • 1 Didactics, its subject and the relationship to other disciplines. 2 Position of the Czech language in the curricula of all types of school. 3 Goals of teaching the Czech language and stylistics. 4 Relationship among language, stylistic and literary teaching. 5 Didactic principles. 6 Personality of the teacher. 7 Teaching content in the individual school stages. 8 Knowledge, skills, habits. 9 Teaching forms and methods. 10 Teaching aids.
