Course objectives
The objective of this subject is basic orientation in the translation theory. The emphasis is placed on the adequate translation of the vocabulary, collocation and phraseological units. The regular parts of seminaries forms practical training of the text translation from the commercial Russian: commercial contracts, business letters, application forms, publicistic texts and art and children literature.

  • Every studentin the course of the semester elaborates a statement on a given subject from the translation practice and theory. 1. Comparative translated Russian - Czech (O. Sekora: Ferda mravenec) 2. Comparative translated Russian - Czech (Nashi v Rossii) 3. Comparative translated Russian - Czech (Uchitel o sebe i svoyey professii) 4. Comparative translated Russian - Czech (Nosov: Neznayka) 5. Comparative translated Czech - Russian commercial letter, contract 6. Comparative translated Russian - Czech (M. Poley: Den topolinnogo puzha)

Předmět je ukončen ústním a písemným zápočtem. Ústní část prověří teoretické znalosti studentů z oblasti translatologie.
