Course objectives

In the first block the students will reflect on their teaching practice, share both their expertise and their problems. They will investigate what they can do to develop their practical teaching skills. They will create an action plan for the development in a certain area. Then they will try to introduce changes gradually into their teaching. In the second block the students will reflect on the process and results of the introduction of the innovations.

• - reflection based on the EPOSTL (European Portfolio for Students of Teaching Foreign Languages) - observing and analyzing lessons - sharing experience - writing a teaching journal - planning focused lessons - reading literature

Assessment methods (in Czech)

Students are expected to write their teaching journal , they will record two lessons with the reflections (one at the beginning of the project where they identify the problem area and one at the end of the project after implementing some changes).
