Course objectives
Through selected topics, the seminar covers the most important works and personalities of the earliest Czech literature. The main stages (from the 9th to the 18the century) will be characterised, as well as their genre and style specificity. Deeper insights into the literary events will be offered through a detailed analysis and interpretation of artistic texts. Students will learn about the basic secondary literature which will enable them to complete and extend the gained knowledge.

  • Literatura raného středověku (9.- 13. století) Literatura vrcholného středověku (14. století) Literatura husitstká a protihusitská (od počátku do 70.let 15.stol.) Humanismus, renasance a reformace(od 70.let 15.stol.do 20.let 17.st.) Baroko a protireformace (od 20.let 17.stol.do 20. let 18. stol.)
