Course objectives
Older French literature Students will acquint with the most important periods of the history of French literature from the beginnings up to the onset of classicism.

  • 1. Beginnings of French literature. 2. French medieval literature. 3. Specific features of the era of Renaissance and humanism in France. 4. Literary tendencies before the era of classicism.
