Course objectives
Goals of the seminar are hand to give an overview to Austrian and Swiss history and deepen individual aspects, but the seminar also offers the possibility for linguistic training in a technical language. On the basis of authentic sources, pictures and adapted materials the most important epochs and events of Austrian and Swiss history are discussed, where possible and meaningfully, also with purchases to Czech history. For the seminar a preparation is expected on the respective topic of the hour (text materials in the IS), as well as active cooperation and discussion. Each studying selects a temporal emphasis and prepares a short presentation of a special aspect from this period and a written work to the same period.
