- Basic experience in the analytical geosciences related to physical, economic and human geography. Basic language skills - especially in English, German, other welcome. Reliable body conditions needed for extensive abroad excursion.

- Course objectives
- The aim of the tuition is to give the imagination of the Asie or Africa as the functional units of various dimensions and hierarchical formatting on the base of natural and corresponding economical and social parameters. Students have to display the ability of composing partial component pieces of information and subsumtioning lokalizated peaces of information into their context.

- 3. Demographical and settlemet characteristics of the region
- 4. Socially economic characteristics of the region a) Agriculture; b) Mine and manufacturing industry; c) Transport; e) Other tertiary activity; f) Quaternary sector
- 5. The historically- and politically geographical characteristics of the region
- 6. Landscape and environment
- 7. Coplex characterization of the region, integration and disintegration, the relatons to Czech republic.
- 8. The subreginonalization of the region and complex characterization of subregions and countries
