Course objectives

The seminar follows Syntax 1 lecture and concentrates on the drill of the theoretical knowledge.

Syllabus

1. Simple sentence monomial, binomial. 2. Expression of monomial sentence (by verb, by another word class). 3. Adjunct sentence with a general, indefinite subject. 4. Sentence with verbal, noun-verbal and non-verbal predicate. 5. Unity of predicate and subject (expression of number). 6. Co-ordinate sentence, co-ordinating relations. 7. Subordinate sentence: minor clauses according to the function. Using of senses and moods in clauses.
