- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The main objective of the course is cognition of one’s own body through movement activity. Familiarization with preparatory, keep-fit and compensatory exercises in form of warming up before movement activity, basic sports gymnastics activities through game, rhythmic and dancing activities corresponding to children of pre-school age. Development of movement abilities and skills in the field of rough and fine motor. Sensory and psychomotor movement activities.
- Syllabus
- 1. Basic terms connected with the particular kind of exercise, importance of exercise and principles of its use. 2. Health preventive movement activities – compensatory, stretching, loosening-up, breathing and chill-out exercises. 3. Principles of preparation of an organism for various movement activities – method and effect of the particular exercises, ways of development of keep-fit and coordinate abilities, base of tiredness, poor body posture, muscle imbalance. 4. Gymnastics through game – learning of correct methods for gymnastic exercises practice through new non-traditional forms. 5. Basic terms connected with dancing, musical and rhythmic accompaniment and used tools; names of dances, basic musical movement games and activities. 6. Psychomotor, development of fine motor, sensory and psychomotor activities and games. Independent work: Concrete examples of suitable exercises based on the topics being taught according to teacher’s assignment. Project and creation of non-traditional psychomotor tools in home conditions.
