- Course objectives
- In the lecture on the „history of German-speaking countries“ will be given an overview on the history of Germany, Austria and Switzerland - the three countries understand itself as a region. The students should have an overall view to understand their study topic also in its historical and political dimension. In addition will be ensured that students have a Basic terminology and deal passive with specialized german texts.
- Syllabus
- We will concentrate on the most important moments of historical development in this region, beginning in the prehistoric to the present. Thematicaly we will deal with the development in the German-speaking countries politically, socially, culturally and economically und we will compare the situation with czech history.
