Theory of natural laws of Hobbes and Locke. Social contract of Rousseau. Enlightement. French revolution in the history of political theories (Burke). American revolution and democracy in the works of de Tocqueville. The man, the country and the society in German philosophy (Kant, Hegel, Fichte). Sociology and psychology in political theories of 19th century - Comte, le Bon. Theory of elites. The society and the the state in works of Marx and Engels. Russian political thinking before the end of 19th century. Anarchism. Czech political thinking.
