- Předmět seznamuje se základy výpočetní techniky podle Sylabu ECDL. Po jeho skončení by studující měli mít znalosti svojí hloubkou srovnatelné se znalostmi absolventa gymnázia.

- 1st Introduction to the system hardware 1st Introduction to the system software 3rd Document editing 4th Working with tables 5th Database management systems 6th Frame presentation 7th Service computer networks and the Internet, including the creation of content Knowledge is identical with the ECDL Syllabus Version 4.0 (http://www.ecdl.cz/data/Sylabus_4.pdf) Due to the fact that the lecture provides for the self-study student is that have access to computer technology . Faculty and the University provides access to each computer technology, in some workplaces, and 24 hours a day.

- Assessment methods
- The test will consist of the award problems of textbook P. Navratil "examples and exercises of Computer Science and Engineering", or P. VYSLOUZILOVA-Spohnerové 'examples and exercises of Computer Science and Engineering 2. Other tasks shall not be present during the test. The period for drawing up the task does not exceed 45 minutes. Materials are not allowed to test each student brings 1 formatted floppy disk.
