Course objectives
1. Speciální pedagogika - terminologie, předmět, cíle, klasifikace oboru, interdisciplinární vztahy. 2. Integrativní a inkluzivní vzdělávání žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami. 3. Legislativa, RVP pro základní vzdělávání. 4. Rodina s dítětem se zdravotním postižením. 5. Pedagogicko-psychologický poradenský systém - pedagogicko-psychologické poradenské služby ve škole, školní poradenská pracoviště, pedagogicko-psychologické poradny, speciálněpedagogická centra, střediska výchovné péče. 6. Speciálněpedagogická diagnostika – pojem, předmět, cíle, metody, terminologie. 7. Mentální postižení – charakteristika, klasifikace dle WHO, etiologie, možnosti vzdělávání, pseudooligofrenie, demence, Downův syndrom. 8. Autismus – charakteristika, etiologie, možnosti vzdělávání. 9. Tělesné postižení – charakteristika, klasifikace, etiologie, možnosti léčby, možnosti vzdělávání. 10. Dětská mozková obrna. 11. Zrakové postižení – charakteristika, klasifikace, etiologie, možnosti léčby, možnosti vzdělávání. 12. Komunikace se zrakově postiženými. 13. Sluchové postižení – charakteristika, klasifikace, etiologie, možnosti vzdělávání. 14. Sluchová protetika, kochleární implantát, komunikace se sluchově postiženými. 15. Narušená komunikační schopnost – charakteristika, klasifikace, etiologie, náprava, možnosti vzdělávání. 16. Alternativní a augmentativní komunikace – charakteristika jednotlivých systémů a jejich využití. 17. Specifické poruchy učení – charakteristika, klasifikace, etiologie, možnosti vzdělávání. 18. Reedukace specifických poruch učení. 19. Poruchy chování – charakteristika, klasifikace, možnosti nápravy, zařízení. 20. Terapie ve speciálněpedagogické péči – hipoterapie, canisterapie, muzikoterapie, arteterapie, ergoterapie, dramaterapie.

Assessment methods
Vritten test. 1. Elaborate model IEP for a student with special needs. 2. Write an essay on the topic “possibilities of integration and inclusion.“ 3. Prepare a lesson plan for a model integrative class using the acqured teaching strategies. 4. Present the needed material, technical, and organisational changes required for successful integration of a model student with special needs. 5. Prepare documents for interview with parents of a student with special needs. Written test.
