- Course objectives
- The course focuses on basic areas of English pronunciation - transcription, sounds, weak forms and linking.
- Syllabus
- The course is based on The Workbook of English Pronunciation for Teachers I by Gabriela Oaklandová. There are ten chapters in this textbook. 1st, 6th and the last lesson - one-to-one consultations. 1. introduction 2. recording/1st CONSULTATION 3. Chapter 1: Bert read by an Englishman (typical difficulties for Czech learners of English), Phonemic Chart and Transcription, Laura and Dolly by Michael Rosen 4.
