- Course objectives
- The main objective is to improve the students' English in all four major skill groups: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Classes will move quickly through the coursebooks, Inside Out Upper-Intermediate and Advanced. As students are training to be teachers, they will be expected to take an active role in their own learning, with an eye toward understanding how to share information with their peers, and later their own students. At the end of the course students should be able to understand how to present a topic of interest to them. They should be able to interpret texts of an advanced level and be able to respond to advanced-level input with a high level of accuracy.

- Teaching methods
- Students will take part in pair-work, group-work and class discussions and will be expected to give a presentation on a topic of their choice.
- Assessment methods
- Students must demonstrate a good command of use of English at an advanced level during the final credit test(comprising Use of English, Listening and Reading papers, passmark 70%).
