Course objectives
At the end of this course, students should be able: to give a history survey on the territory of to-day France from the settlement up to the Great French Revolution; to apply the acquiered knowledges and skills at school.

  • 1. Prehistory. Celtic settlement. 2. Period of Romanisation of Gaule. 3. Period of reign of Mérovingiens. 4. Period of reign of Carolingiens. 5. Period of reign of Capétiens. 6. Great French Revolution.
