- Course objectives
- The aspects of understanding to notion of "beauty" and its functioning from the axiological point of view. Listing of development of aesthetics with view to philosophy of art. Specifications. At the end of this course, students should be able to understand the music aesthetics, visual art and elements of art theory in the context of its development.
- Syllabus
- The issue of beauty in the context of historical development of art. Beauty as a axiologic category. Problems of pseudo-values, the specificities of mass culture. The development of the theory of art. The relationship of aesthetics and art theory. Overview of the development of aesthetics in the light of the philosophy of art. Specificity aesthetics of music and visual arts.
