Course objectives
Methodology - Teaching Literature 1 The subject aims at the basic theoretic questions of teaching literature and the practical (above all interpretative) activities in the specific work with artistic literature at nursery schools.
Syllabus
  • 1. The role of literary education in pre-school preparation of children, its content in relations to the parts of pre-school education. 2. The specific features of the process of literary reception by pre-school children (emotional and rational parts of reception), forming of reading habits. 3. The preparation of teachers at nursery schools for the work with artistic texts, literary communication, motivations for activities with artistic texts. 4. Didactic interpretation, the methods of didactic interpretation and their form in nursery school education. 5. Interpretative work with poetry and some prosaic genres. 6. Reproduction, creativity and didactic games in the work with literature at nursery school.

Teoretická příprava, diskuse, induktivní a deduktivní postupy.
Assessment methods
Completion: credit Requirements: written work - selective thematic bibliography (bibliographic data with short annotation; themes are given at the beginning of the term) of the fiction literature for pre-school children with the examples of their use in different activities at nursery school (accent to the development of aesthetic perceiving).
