Course objectives
Improvement of Russian pronunciation by means of various oral exercises, audio and video recordings. Transcription.
Syllabus
  • Stressed Russian vowels ja, jo, ju, je. Unstressed vowels. Voiced and unvoiced vowels. Russian and Czech h. Hard and soft consonants. Double consonants in Russian. Pronunciation of some vowels groups.

Teaching methods
Student must actively participate in the class, prepare regulary home assignments. Reading and listening russian texts.
Assessment methods
Attendance (80%) is required. The oral credit (reading poems and short sentences). The correct pronunciation is evaluated. The credit is obtained during the exam period, the terms are published on the university information system.
