Course objectives
Current state of the professional field, professional terminology, comparison with foreign countries, classifications of behavioral disorders, theoretical concepts of solutions, behavioral disorders with aggression, with conflict, with substance abuse; education of individuals at-risk of developing behavioral disorders, with behavioral disorders, with ADD; concept of case management; system of educational and supportive institutions for students with behavioral problems, with behavioral disorders; personality of an individual with behavioral disorder definition, characteristics, connection with quality of life; personality of special teacher specializing in behavioral disorders; system approach towards education of students with behavioral disorders; system of educational facilities for institutional and protective care and preventive educational care; legal framework of foster care.

  • 1. Behavioral disorders in the system of special education - Current state of the professional field, professional terminology, comparison with foreign countries 2. Classifications of behavioral disorders 3. Conceptual models of addressing problems of emotion and/or behavioral disorders, contribution of theoretical concepts 4. System approach towards education of students with behavioral disorders prevention of discipline problems school, class, discipline rules, evaluation, relationships, effectiveness of education 5.
