Course objectives

At the end of this course the student will be able to apply knowledge gained in the education of pupils with special educational needs.

Syllabus

Disorders connected to content of teaching matter of mathematics, to understanding of abstract mathematical concepts, to working methods, to non-respecting of pupils individual characteristics. Dyscalculia, content of teaching matter in arithmetic and geometry at 1st level of special schools, introduction to some issues aiding understanding of mathematical concept.
