Course objectives
After passing the course, students are able to demonstrate and apply techniques related to the athletic subjec matter in 1. and 2. year of the primary school in realised education programmes.
Syllabus
  • 1. Safety and hygiene guidelines of athletic practice, composition of an athletic warm-up. 2. Basic concepts concerning runs, jumps and throws. 3. Introduction to basic athletic concepts. 4. Preparatory exercises and games for development of running speed, endurance, spring power and general agility. 5. Technique and methodics of runs, jumps and throws. 6. Basic starting commands and signals, practising the particular types of starts.
