- Course objectives
- The aim of the course lies primarily in enhancing students cultural and intercultural awareness. The importance of international understanding and intercultural communication within a classroom context is emphasized. With the help of relevant literature, students solve case studies involving culturally critical incidents ranging from an intercultural classroom setting to an overall management of diversity in education.
At the end of this course, students should be able to understand intercultural aspects of communication;
improve their communication strategies used in an intercultural setting;
apply various dimensions of culture in intercultural conflicts. - Syllabus
