Course objectives
The Aim of Tuition: With the link to the contents of the subject Ze2MP_PGP9 by form of seminars - on the basis of the concrete analysis and solving of selected problems to generalize some themes of the political geography, to acquire its methods and to gain 1) the ability of aimed acquiring of new concrete konowledge of the dealing theme and 2) the ability of synthesis of the said knowledge within the complex framework of developmental relationship of partial geographical spheres - with emphasis on the problem of didactics transformation. At the end of course students should be albe to use informations in regional geography, interpret of basic informations in political geography and geographical tought.
Syllabus
  • The Fundamental Themes of Seminars:
  • 1) The politically geographical aspects of racial problems.
  • 2) The politically geographical aspects of the problems of fascism.
  • 3) The politically geographical aspects of selected topical global problems.
  • 4) Politically geographical development on the territory of Czech republic with the link to physically geographical and socially geographical conditions.
  • 5) The politically geographical aspects of the integration of Czech republic into European structures.
  • 6) Electoral system in countries of the world.

Teaching methods
Students have a specific project from actual political sutation in the world. After preapering students refer about your projects in class discusion.
Assessment methods
Lecture with a seminar.Presentation of choiced problems. Examination consists of two parts: oral presentation and semester paper.
