Course objectives
The seminar provides more space for in-depth work on topics covered in lectures: history of care of persons with disabilities, current situation in education of students with special educational needs, integration/inclusion, fields of special educations and methods of work,comparison with situation abroad. At the end of this course students will be able to formulate the basic goals of special education, know methods of work in the education of children and pupils with special educational needs. They can suggest appropriate intervention and are able to analyze selected issues on special education.

Seminar - students will watch documents, an excursion to institutions, interactive discussion on selected topics.
Assessment methods
Processing case studies. Written test on the theory.
