Course objectives
This Russian history seminar is intended to be taken concurrently with the lecture half of the course. This is a survey course of Russian History from prehistory times to the 18th century.Its aim is to provide part of the cultural background necessary for those intending to be become Russian language teachers, as well as to serve as an introduction and foundation for further studies in Russian culture and literature. This, the lecture class will meet weekly and deal with Russian History chronologically.
