Course objectives
The goal is to deepen knowledge of phonetics and phonology, and especially practical introduction to the phonetic system of the Russian language. Consolidation and practice the correct pronunciation of Russian sounds, and reduction of palatalization and compare the differences between Czech and Russian. Repeat all kinds of transcription and intonation structure. Improving speaking students from a phonetic and phonological drilových through exercises and listening to audio recordings. The focus is on the correct pronunciation of Russian sounds, and good intonation phrases.

  • 1st The relation of phonetics and phonology. 2nd Articulatory phonetics. Creating a sound. 3rd Sound system in the Russian language in comparison with the language. 4th Suprasegmental features. Dynamics, rhythm and melody in a comparison Czech-Russian plan. 5th Russian accent reduction and voice. 6th Russian intonation structure. 7th Fundamentals of transcription and transliteration.

Teaching methods
Active work in the seminary, task fulfillment and preparation for regular classes.
Assessment methods
Final credit test of phonetic knowledge acquired (transcription and intonational structure) oriented picked curriculum. The oral part of the credit lies in reading short texts and poetry recitation. Recorded sounds of Russian pronunciation and intonation correct sentences.
