Course objectives
The orientation in functional harmony. Main princips of piano stylisation of songs.
Syllabus
  • Basics of functional harmony. Adaptation of chords four voices and introduction to leading of voices. Fifth chords and their changes. Harmonisation of soprano. Characteristic connection in minor key. Main and subsidiary seventh chords. Out- of - tone dominants. Melodic tones. Diatonic and chromatic modulation.
