Course objectives
At the end of the course students should have learnt basic knowledge of reading and the comprehension of written texts in German as a foreign language and they should know projects and institutions that focus on the teaching of text competence. For the teacher's work students should get to know how to choose a text, how to work with authentic texts and how to create their own exercices for the training of text and reading competence on different levels.

  • lecutre and presentation of articles, discussions, analysis of teaching material, conception of own exercices and realisation of these exercices during a project day
