Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to: 1, to understand and explain basic cultivation and animal husbandry activities for environmental education at elementary schools;
2, use the basic information on geology, soil science, meteorology, phenology, natural history of the planning, implementation and reflection of practical activities of cultivation and breeding (autumn, winter);
3, a crop rotation plan to grow vegetables;
4, gives a justification (of reasoned thought out, rational) decision to work in the school garden;
5, based on acquired knowledge to deduce the unknown concepts, practical work practice in the field, to design and implement an educational program on the exhibition "Autumn Color" and preparing seminar work; The goal is to practice basic growing, knowledge cultivation tools, equipment and materials, improvement of work habits when working with them  , demonstration of observation and experimentation, direct work with pupils to plot   and   in the greenhouse and the related evaluation of the work of children, colleagues, Head teacher. Search links to other objects in     Basic Education Course of   the "Biology for Life and Health", which is part of a research project MU "School and Health for the 21st Century."
Syllabus
  • 1. Practical activities – Autumn, winter, training of abilities 2. Arranging and flover binding – usage in basic education – Exhibition preparation and realization 3. Practicing with pupils in Exhibition “Colourful Autumn” 4. Creating of educational program for garden – theoretical part – usage of both multimedia and practical activities, labour with naturals in biotope garden 5. Demonstration and practising observation and experiments, phenology, labour with children in field and in greenhouse
