- Course objectives
- Students should acquire the basics of syntax in literary Russian by the means of comparing Czech and Russian. Students should acquire the knowledge of simple sentences pattern.
- Syllabus
- 1. Syntax as a grammatical part. The subject of syntax. 2. Syntactical units and their relations in sentence. 3. Simple sentence. Complex and compound sentence. 4. Sentence elements. 5. Subject and predicate. Typology of predicates. 6. Object, attribute, apposition. 7. Аdverbials. 8. One-element and two-element sentences. 9. One-element sentence with definite subject, non definite subject. 10. Nominative sentence. 11. Paired sentence elements. 12. Sentence with adverbial participle, participle.
