Course objectives
The main objective of the course can be summarized as follows: acquainting the basic english vocabulary from the Geography. This help students to be able to use an english written sources for their final thesis. Students are able to work with geographical english books as well as with geographical web pages. The topics are especially focused on physical geography.
Syllabus
  • The seminars will be devided into chosen geographical issues. These can be changed according to the student's needs. The main regard is to the topic of the final thesis. Expected issues: 1. Rivers 2. Sea action 3. Ice action 4. The Earth 5. Maps in Geography 6. Rocks 7. Ecology 8. Environment 9. Weather 10. Climate
