- Course objectives
- At the end of this course, students should be able to: understand and explain the basic picture about vertebrate body organization (1), determinate important species (Fishes of Adriatic - 2).- interpret bionomical knowledge about typical higher taxons (3) and main our ones (4 - interesting Amphibians, Reptiles, Birds and Mammals) in different habitats. Protection of ecosystems is main goal (5).
- Syllabus
- Bionomie and simply determinate of pattern species. Student knows differences between species and it is able to determinate main representants. 1. Chondrichthyes and Osteichthyes in Adriatic sea 2. Fishes of world 3. Amphibians of world 4. Reptiles of world 5. Birds of world (all homeworks) 6. Difficulty groups of our birds - water birds and raptors 7. Mammals - tooth 8. Vertebrates in characteristic ecosystems of Europe 9. Vertebrates in characteristic ecosystems of world 10. Didactics - individual project of field teaching in ecosystem

- student homeworks of PPP about bionomie unique vertebrate taxons. Individual and class discussion over the occurence of species in biotops, structure of ecosystems. Individual didactic project (lesson on habitat in terrain).
