- Course objectives
- The main objective of the course is to develop students' knowledge of grammar at the Pre-Intermediate Level. The basic study material is the coursebook New English File Pre-Intermediate supplemented by various additional materials. At the end of the course students are going to be able to use various grammar features correctly, to read and listen to authentic texts at the Pre-Intermediate Level and communicate in the language fluently.

- The basic study material is the coursebook New English File PRE-INTERMEDIATE (Student's book and Workbook), see Literature bellow.
- 1st lesson: 1A Word order in questions + 1B Present simple
- 2nd lesson: 1C Present continuous + 1D defining relative clauses
- 3rd lesson: 2A Past simple, regular and irregular verbs
- 4th lesson: 2B Past continuous
- 5th lesson: 2C Questions with and without auxiliaries + 2D So, because, but, although
- 6th lesson: 3A Going to, present continuous (future arrangements)
- 7th lesson: 3B Will / won't (predictions) + 3C Will / won't (promises, offers, decisions)
- 8th lesson: 3D Review of tenses: present, past, and future
- 9th lesson: 4A Present perfect (experience) + ever, never; present perfect perfect or past simple?
- 10th lesson: 4B Present perfect simple + yet, just, already
- 11th lesson: 4C Comparatives + 4D Superlatives (+ ever + present perfect)
- 12th lesson: 5A Verb + infinitive + 5B Verbs + -ing
- 13th lesson: 5C Have to, don't have to, must, mustn't + 5D expressing movement
