- Course objectives
- Course Grammar 2A deals with English grammar at intermediate level. The main objective is to summarize and develop the students' knowledge of particular grammar points (see the Outline of the course below).
Students are expected to work on the corresponding units of Macmillan Grammar in Context (used in class as the primary source)and English Grammar in Use - Fourth edition(by R. Murphy) for self-study so that in classes the topics can be summarised and particular grammar points practised. Authentic materials will be also provided to show students how language is used in real life.
At the end of the course the students should be able to: distinguish differences between grammar structures, form complex sentences, give examples of their own, become competent users of the language. - Syllabus
