- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students should be able to: (1) understand and explain the basic plant physiological processes; (2) understand the role of plant physiology in the botanical sciences; (3) interpret the diverse plant physiological functions; (4) aply basic methods and techniques in plant physiological research; (5) work with plant material.
- Syllabus
- This is a general course intended to introduce students to the major topics and concepts of Plant Physiology. 1. Metabolism of sacharids, amino-acids and proteins. Secundar substances of plant metabolism.

- 4. Plant nutritions
- 5. Photosynthesis
- 6. Respiration processes
- 7. water and solute transport
- 8. Heterotrophy
- 9. Plant growth and progress
- 10. Germination
- 11. Florescency, dormancy

- 13. Immunity and tolerance of plants to unfavourable environmental conditions
