Course objectives
The main target is to introduce students to contemporary Russia: geography, culture, architecture, customs, cuisine, mentality of the population. Furthermore, to develop language skills and speaking skills by speaking exercises, working with the Internet, Russian-speaking press and literature.

  • The content of the subject was included in the following topics: 1st Geography of Russia. Climatic and natural conditions, and surface waters. 2nd The Political System of the Russian Federation. 3rd Moscow. Capital. Monuments. 4th St. Petersburg. Window to Europe. Monuments. Tourism. 5th Architectural monuments. North of Russia and the Golden Ring. 6th Orthodoxy, holidays and customs. 7th Russian tradition. 8th Russian cuisine.

Teaching methods
6 hours contackt - students work independently with the Russian-speaking lyrics, seeking information on the topics discussed, prepare presentations. The quality of information and also the correct pronunciation, intonation and vocabulary. In the last week students must hund in presentations to one of the topics.
