Course objectives
At the end of this course, a student will understand the problems of the education of adults; he/she will have a picture about androgogic probléme and the area of activating the elderly people. Based on this knowledge, the student will be able to create distant and activating materials used as a part of educating the adults.
Syllabus
  • Didactic forms and methods of andragogic. Education of adults as communication process, creativity of adult. Selfeducation and selfteaching of adults in context of social pedagogy.. Freetime of adults and adult in freetime. New trends in education of adults Requalification, distance studies etc. Gerontopedagogic as a discipline of future, aging generation and it is needs. Oldness as a social phenomeon, preparation for oldness, withdrawal to pension, function of education in postproductive age, social situation of seniors in family and in society

Students will work in a team on a topic in the field of adult education and activation of senior citizens. The output will be presented at a seminar.
