Course objectives

The main objectives of the course are the following: - to determine research aims, resrach questions, hypotheses
- to suggest and to create research tool on the basis of problematic, which is the aim of research
- to convert data into electronic way
- to analyze data
- to express results in tabelar and graphic form

Syllabus

• 1. Educational methodology. Educational research. Types of research. Qualitative and quantitative methodology.
• 2. Variables, operationalization.
• 3. Research aims, research questions, hypotheses.
• 4. Sample size.
• 5. Questionnaire (construction, items, administration, evaluation).
• 6. Test (construction, questions types, evaluation).
• 7. Observation (obtaining of data, analysis).
• 8. Interview.
• 9. The text analysis, secondary analysis of data, drawing.
• 10. Experiment as a method of educational research.
• 11. Validity and reliability.
• 12. The evaluation of data, interpretation of findings.
