Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to:
(1) to select the suitable form and method for exposure of geological curriculum;
(2) plan and realize field exercises and excursion with a geological theme;
(3) create and maintain a collection of geological material
(4) suggest and carry out geological experiments
(5) evaluate textbooks with geological themes used to compare the school,
(6) to understand the geologically-oriented literature,
(7) to build a cabinet of geology at school.

  • Didakctics of geology as a science. Geological position of the curriculum in FEP. Processing of thematic unit Inanimate nature in textbooks of Natural History. Methods, forms and means of geological education curriculum. Cabinet geology teacher. Excursions and field training in geology.
