Course objectives
Playing the major and minor scales by each hand separately, voice exercises in a major key, Cadence T - S - D7 - T in all major and minor keys in close harmony, diatonic modulation via minor subdominant, stylized accompaniment of folk songs, transposition of selected folk songs.
Syllabus
  • 1. Playing the simple melodies in the bass clef. 2. Coordination of movements of both hands 3. Fundamentals of piano playing with the pedal. 4. Scales 5. Chords 6. Basic principles of an accompaniment of folk songs 7. Playing the chords in dependence on the structure of key 8. Voice exercises in major key 9. Cadence T - S - D7 - T in all major and minor keys 10. Diatonic modulation 11. Transposition of folk songs 12. Basic principles of an accompaniment of the songs from the pop-music area
