Course objectives
After passing the course, students are able to design and apply a set of exercises and motoric games for the development of all motoric skills, games for manipulation of tools, competition games, creative games and games for improvement of motoric skills in particular tasks with objects, instruments and things surrounding children.
Syllabus
  • 1. Simple actions with objects, instruments and tools, aimed at establishing and improvement of skills in the area of fine- and coarse-grained motorics in playful manner 2. Sensual and psychomotoric games 3. Basic motoric skills in relation to spatial orientation, overcoming of obstacles, mastering equipment, movement in a group, movement in various environments and on changing surfaces 4. Basic terminology related to the games and equipment used, basic rules and organisational suggestions for realising games apt for pre-school age 5. Motoric games and preparatory exercises for development of all motoric skills, games for manipulation of equipment, competition and creative games, games for improvement of motoric skills as a part of particular thematic blocks, emphasising educational exploitation of games (sense of fair play) 6. Game safety, focusing on proper attire and shoes, especially for games under more difficult conditions, procedures for prevention of game-related injuries
