Course objectives
The goal of the course is to understand and to explain the basic special aspects of special andragogy and the problems of adult people with disabilities according to the kind of disability and the life period.

  • definition of handicap and disability, terminology according to WHO, changes in attitudes
  • adult person with different kind of disability
  • cerebral palsy
  • adult person with intellectual disability, support of integration, approaches
  • social services, legislation
  • personal assistance
  • vocational training, support for choosing the occupation
  • support on the transition from school to work
  • employment of people with disabilities

  • social inclusion, comprehensive rehabilitation

  • therapy as a support of disabled people
  • adult person with inboren diability (possibilities of support, integration, influence of the disability)
