The main objectives of the course are: to introduce students to the principles of academic writing in theoretical and practical terms; become familiar with the principles of citations in the text, and to present different types of bibliographic formats. Also to show bibliographic management software.

Teaching methods
Each lecture consists of working with texts, and practical exercises to practice specific citation styles and standards. Discussion over awkwardly and properly written academic texts.
Assessment methods
Request: To study materials given in Study materials in IS, read books mentioned in Study catologue in IS, to fill in exercices in IS (twice per semester). To finish successfully, passing the written exam is required. Students must correctly answer at least 60% of all questions.
